Guest suite welcome book template

A guest suite sits right next to your own home, usually with a private entrance and a shared wall or ceiling. Guests need to know which door is theirs, what's in the kitchenette, how the separate heat works and how to reach you without feeling like they're intruding.

This template covers each section with sample text for a basement, garden or attached suite, written to keep things private and friendly for both sides of the wall.

Questions

What should a guest suite welcome book include?

Which entrance is theirs, the kitchenette, separate heat, hot water and laundry notes, shared wall or noise notes, how to reach you, local picks, emergency info and checkout.

How do I explain shared noise in a guest suite?

Say what guests might hear, like morning footsteps, and when you'll keep quiet too. Pair it with quiet hours so it's fair to both sides.

What emergency info does a basement or garden suite need?

Add a clear description for responders, like 'lower unit, side entrance', plus smoke and CO alarm locations and the second way out.
