Terms of use

Keegix is a Waypoint Labs product, run by me from Nova Scotia. These terms are the agreement between you and me when you use this website or order a setup. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them.

What Keegix does

Keegix lets short-term rental hosts create a web page (a "welcome book") for each property, share it with a link and QR code, and print a QR sign.

Your account

• You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep access to that email account secure.
• You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Your content

• You own what you write and upload. You give me permission to store it and show it to anyone who has your link, only so the service works.
• You're responsible for making sure your content is accurate, including check-in codes, safety information and emergency contacts.
• Only upload photos you have the right to use.
• Don't use Keegix for anything illegal, harmful, misleading or unrelated to hosting guests. I may remove content or close accounts that do.

Plans and billing

• Free: 1 property, up to 5 photos per property, with a small "Made with Keegix" footer.
• Pro: $9 CAD per property per month, billed by Stripe. Pro removes the footer, allows custom colours and unlimited photos.
• You can change the number of properties or cancel any time from Manage billing. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for.
• I don't refund partial months.
• When Pro ends, your account returns to the free plan. Your oldest property stays live and the others are paused, not deleted.
• If prices change, I'll email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.

Setup service ($39)

• For $39 CAD, one time, I build one welcome book from the details and photos you send me, put it in a free Keegix account under your email, and send you the guest link.
• The finished welcome book is on the free plan (up to 5 photos, with the "Made with Keegix" footer). You can add Pro separately at any time.
• I aim to deliver within 3 days of receiving both your form and your payment. If I haven't delivered within 7 days, email me and I'll refund you in full.
• One round of changes is included if you ask within 14 days of delivery. After that, you can edit the welcome book yourself at no cost.
• I write from what you give me. Check the finished welcome book before you share it, especially door codes, wifi details and emergency numbers.
• Once I've delivered your welcome book, the setup fee isn't refundable.

Availability

I work to keep Keegix running, but I can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copy of important information, such as door codes, somewhere else too.

Limits on liability

Keegix is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, I'm not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost bookings or guest disputes, arising from your use of the service. My total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid me in the 3 months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from Your properties. I may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Changes

If I change these terms in a meaningful way, I'll email account holders before the change takes effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
