Check-in and checkout

• Check-in is from [Check-in time]. Checkout is by [Checkout time].
• From the parking area, follow [Path description] to the yurt.

Guests and noise

• The yurt sleeps [Max guests] guests.
• Canvas walls don't block sound, so please keep quiet hours from [Quiet hours start] to [Quiet hours end].
• No parties or events, please.

Pets, smoking and photos

• Pets: [Pet rule].
• No smoking or vaping inside the yurt. Canvas holds smells and can scorch.
• No commercial photography or filming unless we've agreed it first.

Looking after the yurt

• Please don't use tape, tacks or hooks on the walls or lattice. They tear the canvas.
• Keep furniture, bags and the bed a little away from the walls so air can move and damp doesn't build up.
• No candles or open flames. Battery lanterns are [Lantern location].
• Wood stove: keep anything that can burn at least a metre away, never leave the fire unattended, and leave the ash for us. [Stove instructions location]
• Please keep the door closed, day and night. It keeps out rain, mice and mosquitoes.

Outdoors

• The toilet is [Toilet type and location]. Please use only toilet paper.
• Store all food inside the cooler box or cupboard, never outside. [Wildlife note]
• Campfires only in the fire ring, and never during a fire ban.

Locking up

• Please lock the door when you head out and at checkout.

Checkout

• Put used dishes in the sink or the tub by the counter.
• Gather used towels in [Towel spot].
• Sort trash and recycling into the bins inside.
• Turn off the lights and let the stove burn down with its door closed.
• Close the windows and skylight cover and lock up. Return the key [Key return spot].
