Check-in and checkout

Guests, noise and events

• Maximum [Max guests] guests overnight, plus up to [Max day visitors] day visitors with our OK.
• No parties or events, please.
• Quiet hours run from [Quiet hours start] to [Quiet hours end], on the deck and the dock too. Sound bounces across the lake.

Pets, smoking and photography

• Pets: [Pet rule, e.g. up to 2 dogs, please keep them off the beds].
• No smoking or vaping indoors. Please use [Smoking spot] and the ashtray there.
• No commercial photos or filming without permission.

Lake requests

• Swimming: there's no lifeguard, so please swim with a buddy and keep an adult watching children at all times.
• Please don't dive off the dock. The water is only [Water depth] deep at the end.
• Life jackets are in [Life jacket location]. Children should wear one on the dock.
• The boat: [Boat rule, e.g. only the named, licensed driver; please return it to the dock by sunset].
• Hot tub: no glass in or near the tub, keep the cover on when you're done (it keeps children safe and the water warm), and please don't change the temperature setting.
• Please keep music low and lights off on the dock after dark so neighbours and wildlife can rest.

Locking up

• Lock the house and the boathouse whenever you go out.

Before you go

• Put used dishes in the sink and gather used towels in [Towel spot].
• Sort trash and recycling into the indoor bins.
• Turn off lights and the AC or heat, and close the windows.
• Lock the doors and return the keys to [Key return spot].
