Farmhouse welcome book template

A rented farmhouse is usually an older home in the country, and its charm comes with quirks: creaky floors, windows that stick, an old furnace or boiler, well water and a septic system. Guests also wonder which barns and fields they can explore.

This template covers each section with sample text for a country farmhouse that isn't a working farm stay, with notes for big group meals and local picks like the antique shop and country roads.

Questions

What should a farmhouse welcome book include?

The usual sections plus old-house notes: heating, windows, well and septic, the big kitchen, which outbuildings and fields guests can use, and local country picks.

How is a farmhouse guide different from a farm stay guide?

A farmhouse guide focuses on the house and countryside, while a farm stay guide covers animals, chores and working farm safety. Use the one that matches what guests will actually do.

Should I tell guests about septic and well water?

Yes. One line on the septic system and a clear note on drinking water prevent the most common and costly problems.
