House rules in Spanish: free translated template

Spanish-speaking guests come from Spain, Mexico and all over Latin America, and a few everyday words change from country to country. This template uses plain, widely understood Spanish with the polite tone a host would use with guests they haven't met.

It covers the welcome, check-in and checkout times, wifi, the standard house rules and a short checkout list. Fill in the bracketed parts in Spanish, or just with times and numbers, which read the same in any language.

Questions

Should I use usted or tú in a rental welcome note?

Usted (ustedes for a group) is the safe choice with guests you don't know. Some hosts with a relaxed crowd use tú, which is fine as long as you use it all the way through.

Is Spanish from Spain different from Latin American Spanish?

The grammar is the same and guests from either side will understand a neutral template. A handful of words differ, so tailor them if most of your guests come from one region.

Do I need house rules in Spanish if my listing is in English?

You don't have to, but guests follow rules more easily in their own language. Keep the meaning identical to the rules on your listing so there's no confusion.
