House rules in Chinese: free translated template
This template is in Simplified Chinese, the script used in mainland China and Singapore. Guests from Taiwan and Hong Kong usually read Traditional characters, so if they're your main guests, have the text converted and checked.
It includes a warm welcome, check-in and checkout times, wifi, the standard house rules (入住须知) and a short checkout list. The wording is polite and natural, the way a Chinese-speaking host would write to guests.

Tips
- The template uses 您, the respectful form of you, rather than the casual 你.
- Have a native speaker check anything legal, such as deposits, damage or cancellation wording, before you add it to this template.
- For guests from Taiwan or Hong Kong, use Traditional characters; converting the script is easy, but have a reader check the wording too.
- Write times in the 24-hour clock (15:00), which avoids mix-ups between morning and afternoon.
- Tell guests which messaging app you use to reply, since many Chinese-speaking travellers prefer messaging to phone calls.

Questions
Should I use Simplified or Traditional Chinese?
Use Simplified for guests from mainland China and Singapore, and Traditional for guests from Taiwan and Hong Kong. If you get both, keep two versions.
Is 您 or 你 better in a welcome note?
您 is the respectful form and is the right choice for guests. 你 is fine between friends but can feel too casual from a host.
What does 入住须知 mean?
It means things to know for your stay and is the usual heading for house rules in Chinese. Guests will recognize it straight away.
