First morning message template for Airbnb hosts
The first morning is when guests find out whether the bed is comfortable, the shower runs hot and the coffee maker makes sense. A short good-morning message gives them an easy way to mention anything that didn't go right.
It's also a good moment to share a breakfast spot or one thing worth doing today. Keep it to a few lines. For a one-night stay, fold it into the after-arrival message instead.

Detailed version
Good morning, [Guest first name]!
I hope you had a good first night at [Property name]. A few things that might help today:
- Coffee: the [Coffee maker type] is [Location]; [Quick how-to, e.g. pods are in the top drawer]
- Breakfast nearby: [Café name], [Distance] away, opens at [Opening time]
- Today's weather: [Short note, e.g. sunny until mid-afternoon, so the beach is best early]
- Worth doing: [One local suggestion]
Was the bed comfortable, and was the shower hot enough? If there's any small thing you'd like changed, I'm happy to help.
Have a great day,

Tips
- Send it mid-morning, not at 7 a.m. when guests on holiday may still be asleep.
- Ask about one or two specific things, like the bed or hot water, rather than a vague 'all good?'.
- Share one good breakfast spot instead of a long list.
- If you already sent an after-arrival message, keep this one very short.
Put it on one guest page instead of a binder

Questions
Should I send both a first morning and an after-arrival message?
For stays of two nights or more, both work if each is short. For one-night stays, pick one so guests don't feel watched.
What time should a first morning message go out?
Mid-morning, roughly 9 to 10 a.m. local time, suits most guests. Early risers can still read it later.
What if the guest complains in reply?
Thank them for telling you, fix what you can that day and say when it'll be done. A quick fix now beats reading about it in the review.
