Emergency info for guests in Chile (rental template)
Chile has a short number for each service: 131 for an ambulance, 132 for the fire brigade, which is staffed by volunteers, and 133 for the Carabineros police. Coastal rentals need earthquake and tsunami steps, and summer brings wildfire risk, with 130 for reporting forest fires.
We checked these numbers in November 2026, but services change, so please confirm them locally before you print or share the page.

Tips
- Mark the tsunami evacuation route from your door if you're on the coast.
- Show where the gas cylinder valve is, since bottled gas is common for cooking and hot water.
- Keep a flashlight, water and a charged power bank by the door for after an earthquake.
- Name the nearest hospital or clinic with an urgencia and how long it takes to drive there.
