Emergency info for guests in Austria (rental template)
Austria has 112 plus separate numbers for police (133), fire (122) and ambulance (144), and its own mountain rescue line, 140. There's even a short number for gas leaks, 128. The 1450 health hotline helps guests decide where to go when it isn't an emergency.
We checked these numbers in November 2026, but services change, so please confirm them locally before you print or share the page.
