Emergency info for guests in Australia (rental template)
Australia's emergency number is 000 (Triple Zero), and 112 also works from a mobile. The SES helps with floods and storm damage, and the Poisons Information line covers bites, stings and medicines. Bushfire and beach safety notes make this page different from most countries.
We checked these numbers in November 2026, but services change, so please confirm them locally before you print or share the page.

Tips
- Fill in your state's fire service app name; guests need to know where warnings appear.
- Write a short bushfire plan with a leaving route, since guests won't know the roads.
- For northern beaches, add a note about marine stingers season and stinger nets.
- Add GPS coordinates for farm stays and remote properties, where addresses can be hard to find.
